Tutorials
Students are always welcome to attend my tutorials to receive help or to discuss any class-related concerns. Tutorials are assigned when a student is missing assignments or failing the course. My class is open most days during lunch except Mondays and Tuesdays A lunch. Official Socials Studies Tutorial times are as follows: Wednesday: B Lunch
Friday: A Lunch
Absentee Policy
Absent students can reference what was completed in class through the World History and World History Honors sections of this website. If you're absent from class, you can refer to the weekly announcements to learn what topics and assignments you may have missed. You are responsible for meeting with me when you return to school to pick up necessary hand outs or assignments. Since Power Points are online it is expected that the student will get their notes from from there and will stay current with the class. Students have the same number of days to make up work while missed as they were absent. So if you were absent one day then you have one day to make up the work.
Academic Integrity
All students are expected to show integrity in their academic work. Students should not engage in cheating, plagiarism, falsification of work, or other activities outlined in WCPSS Board Policy 6445 and/or teacher directions for assignments and classroom activities. Student behaviors in violation of this policy will be addressed through appropriate discipline as outlined by the student code of conduct.

What Can You Do To Help Your Grade?
Test Retake Option
- Students may do test corrections which will be their ticket to take a retest. Upon completing the retest the two test scores will be averaged and that will be the grade although if a student does worse on the retest the grade will not be lowered
- Students may have two weeks from the date the test is passed back to complete remediation and retakes.
- The test will not be the exact same test so study the information.
